UK nuclear power issues

Professor Gordon MacKerron, director of the Sussex Energy Group at the University of Sussex, was the chair of the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management between December 2003 and 2007. In an exclusive interview with Platts Power UK, MacKerron discusses new build issues and suggests that the UK government is tending to muddle up policies for dealing with radioactive waste from existing plant and those from any new wave of reactors.
